Shiranui is the hero of Kamiki Village during the events in Nippon one hundred years prior, saving its people from the evil Orochi. He reincarnated into Amaterasu years later after rumors of Orichi's return spread across the land. Shiranui is a silent protagonist, able to communicate through his Celestial Envoy Ishaku. Apart from the 13 Celestial Brush techniques, Shiranui also uses his Divine Instrument, the Solar Flare, to fend off the evil the remains in Nippon.
The Celestial Howl variant pays homage to the different moments in the game when Shiranui and Amaterasu howl, recreating these scenes in statue form!
