Dark Horse Announces Four Strikingly Powerful Witcher 3 Figures
Dark Horse and CD PROJEKT RED are teaming up for an all-new The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt figure line which includes Geralt in his Toussaint Relic Armor.
Dark Horse and CD PROJEKT RED have teamed up for an all-new figure line based on the 2015 video game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The new line will feature four figures from the best-selling video game, which centered on Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer for hire known as a Witcher, as he searched for his adopted daughter who is on the run from the otherworldly Wild Hunt. Two figures will be based on Geralt himself with one clad in his armor from the Blood and Wine expansion while the other will be a limited-edition version featuring Geralt in his Toussaint Relic armor available exclusively from Dark Horse Direct. The line also includes figures for Witcher 3 supporting characters Vesemir and Imlerith.
Donning the fabled Toussaint Relic Armor, Geralt is ready to fight his way through the darkest of fairy tales in the Land of a Thousand Fables. The Dark Horse Direct Exclusive Geralt figure comes with his sword at the ready in his right hand and with Aard casting in his left. This allows fans of The Witcher 3 to proudly display the hero as if he is ready to knock back and cut down his foes to complete his quest. Collectors hoping to add this exclusive figure, which stands at 7.75" tall, to their collection can pre-order the Geralt Toussaint Relic Armor for $79.99 at Dark Horse Direct. The product will be limited to just 2000 units worldwide.
The Geralt Toussaint Tourney Armor figure is outfitted in armor seen in the 2016 expansion pack Blood and Wine, which found the character in Toussaint, a land untainted by war and rife with carefree indulgence and knightly ritual. However, the land masks an ancient, bloody secret that only a witcher like Geralt can solve. Collectors can pair the Geralt figure with the one of Vesemir, the oldest and most experienced witcher at Kaer Morhen, who raised and trained many in the ways of a witcher, including Geralt and Ciri. "Despite his age, his capabilities as a monster hunter are practically unmatched. Although a demanding instructor and imposing warrior, he is always ready to help with sage advice and a steady hand," reads the figure's official description.
The final figure is of Imlerith, a "general of the Wild Hunt and a frequent guest in Geralt’s nightmares," who is "a powerful and brutal warrior who has fought in countless campaigns of conquest, now fiendishly consumed with delivering Ciri to his ruler, Eredin."
The Geralt Toussaint Tourney Armor figure stands 7.75" tall while the Vesemir figure stands at 8.25" tall. Both statues will retail for $59.99. The Imlerith figure stands at 9" tall and will for $69.99. Each figure will come with its own 1.5" tall display base.
Except for the deluxe Geralt Toussaint Relic Armor figure, the line will be available worldwide on January 18, 2023. The Dark Horse Direct Geralt exclusive figure will release in Spring 2023.
